My name is Mohan Pinto. Allow me to share the story of our ready to drink Kokum Pani and journey into the Pinto family’s history, 150 years back in time.
I remember, from as far back as a little boy, my mother making Kokum Pani for our whole family to enjoy, with all our meals. It helped our digestion and acidity control, it was cooling and loaded with lots of beneficial nutrients, minerals and vitamins. To this day, it is my favourite drink, my family’s favourite drink, and I hope your favourite drink.
Our History spans more than a century. Pintos have been trading and running a business from the same site on Pinto road, Pinto circle, in Hubli for over 150 years.
Myself, My father and his fore fathers going back five generations, have served the people and communities of Hubli and the surrounding Towns, Cities and State with passion and dedication.

I would often hear my customers telling me of their health issues with acidity and indigestion, This made me sad to think they were suffering.
So I started giving them free Kokum Pani samples to try, as a relief to their problems.
I was overjoyed to see the benefit and relief my customers felt.
It felt so good to be able to help them.
The Kokum Pani samples proved so popular, my customers kept asking for more.
In 2018 after extensive product testing and market research, I decided to invest and set up a state of the art, manufacturing unit to produce and bottle our ready to drink Kokum Pani, in a clean and hygienic environment, and share this delicious, natural, healthy drink with you.
Our Kokum Pani is crafted from a closely guarded family recipe, handed down from one generation to the next.

The Pinto’s brand diversified in the early 1980’s by adding Julia Garments, a high fashion couture boutique, specialising in bespoke wedding gowns and Mohan’s Cold storage, which was later renamed Pintos Food products.
Our food products retail and wholesale business has seen expansion in frozen and pre-prepared, ready to eat foods. Marketing and selling direct to consumers, and B2B in catering, hotel management, events and entertainment sector.
